TTN Visits: Blacklock, Soho
It doesn't take long to sense a buzz around something foodie related in London. When i started to spot tweets buzzing about amazing Chops in Soho, I knew it wouldn't be long before I paid the basement at 24 Great Windmill Street a visit, and what better time than over a long Bank Holiday weekend?

TTN Visits: Hotbox, Spitalfields
Good Food. Good Vibes. Good Music and London. A few things that I really do love and are sure to set me in a good mood. Combining all 4? Well, serious happiness making magic occurs and thats exactly what happened when I paid Hot Box a visit at the weekend.

TTN Visits: Voglia Di Pizza, Rome
Eating Gluten Free in Rome was not as easy as i expected. Okay, so I am known for romanticising everything but I did expect every shop to be able to offer me an abundance of Gluten free goodies seeing as Italians are renowned for their love of food. If you are a big pasta eater, and yet need to live Gluten free, then you will have no problem finding a bowl of gluten free Pasta to feast on. I haven't ever been a big Pasta eater so although grateful, was a little deflated. My real weakness is Pizza and boy was I happy to stumble upon little Voglia Di Pizza in San'Eustachio region of Rome..

TTN Visits: The Edible Garden Show, Alexandra Palace
I don't cook much with Salt but when I do, the only Salt I use is Maldon Salt flakes because they are quite frankly the best. So when I was asked to be a Maldon Salt Ambassador and given tickets to attend this years Edible Garden Show at Alexandra Palace, how could I have said no?!

TTN Visits: Duck & Waffle, Heron Tower, City of London
Today, I had brunch in the Sky. After getting ourselves onto the waiting list for Brunch at Duck & Waffle about a month ago, we were given a slot for 2:30 today which brightened up our week considerably!
We decided to dress up a little, although the dress code is Smart Causal, I chose my newest purchases and instantly felt special (wearing heels and a Midi skirt has that affect on a sunny Saturday)....

TTN Visits: Taste of Christmas 2013
Christmas. A foodie’s dream season. A time when you can eat
plenty, go for walks (to the pub) and if you’re not eating food, spend time
thinking about your next meal. Oh I hope I am not on my own saying all that!
Taste of Christmas was on this weekend. In its new home in
Tobacco Dock. Being a short walk from my home plus receiving an email telling
me that with a code I could get a free pair of tickets, it seemed crazy to not
go along for Friday night dinner and drinks.

TTN Visits: La Bodega Negra, Old Compton Street, Soho
Good friends that The Boy and I hadn’t seen in 2 years (we
are evidently bad friends), had finally managed to offer us a date to meet up for dinner
that we could do. There was a small challenge ‘take us to a restaurant in
London with a USP’ - that’s Unique Selling Point to the average person.
I spent ages thinking of somewhere that had something
different but somewhere that would suit everyone. As you can’t book for tables
under 6 at ‘Dishoom’- I settled on ‘La Bodega Negra’ and I was really looking
forward to eating a Mexican hidden away under a sex shop façad!
