The hunt for the perfect LBD....

Now i am a fully fledged Londoner, Really dont know what all the hoo-ha is regarding the whole 'first time moving out of the parentals' is all about.. absolutely loving it!

So its the last day of November, and Christmas is very much on the forefront of my mind. I even have a posh christmas do to get excited for this year (after 3 years without!) and this has me on the hunt for that classic piece of clothing that all us girlies endeavour to have in our wardrobe... the LBD.

There is so much choice in the shops this year that this is becoming a hard task. The whole point of a LBD is so that the buyer has a classic, never-will-go-out-of-fashion, accessorise-with-everything item that prevents future last minute panicking no matter what the occasion (no pressure then). I also have the added hard task of finding a dress that will suit my vertically and horizontally challenged bod and wont result in me looking either
a) like im going to the office
b) like a 40 year old with 5 kids and a house
c) like I belong in TOWIE
or d) Like Wednesday from the Addams family

So here are my current 3 dresses that i have whittled down from about 50 on my internet search....
ASOS - £50

ASOS- £50

ASOS- £48.50
As you can see they are all very different.
The top dress is very classic and the midi length is perfect for either winter or summer wearing.
The second dress has that touch of glamour and with the lace sleeves means i wont be worrying about bingos any time soon- i cant just see the dress with either black or nude accessories and a powerful red pout and volumed hair.
The final dress is a bit of a different style, in fact- its not a dress per se. The top is seperate to the skirt and the sequin shorts that are just visible in the photo also come with it. I would wear 20 denier black tights with this one and maybe a chunky gold necklace and large bangle to keep everything simple. I also like that for the money you effectively get 3 items of clothing which you can wear with other clothes as well... But its not really the classic that I am really wanting.

Oh decisions, decisions.... any thoughts???

Lots of Love
