TTN Visits: DF/Mexico, Brick Lane, E1

Mexican food and good times go hand in hand like, well, Salt and Pepper (?). To celebrate our 7 year anniversary, we headed to DF/Mexico in Bricklane for a late lunch which turned out to be a very good choice indeed...

There really isn't anything i can say about this place that wont take a few lines... Cool, Great Service, Great Atmosphere, Gluten Free menu option, Hassle free, Affordable and the best tasting DIY taco's I have ever had in my mouth.... but enough of my words, check out these beauties for size....

For 1 beer, 2 refillable drinks (i went for my favourite Hibiscus Aqua Fresa and He went for Dite Coke), 2 DIY chilli con carne Taco board (with Corn Tortillas for me), 3 sides (Fries, Red Rice and an amazingly tasty side salad) came to a nice £36..... I'm already planning my next visit!

Oh and the Chilli con carne? It wasn't made from minced meat as expected but from thick, soft, melt-in-the-mouth shreds of meat baked with cowgirl beans in a lightly spiced sauce and topped with oozy stringy cheese. aka my Mexican heaven.

Website is here. The gang at DF are also on Twitter and Facebook.

Go Go Go

Lots of Love
