My Flavour of Spring with Maldon Salt
Maldon's 'Flavour of Spring' Competition has got me thinking about what my 'Flavour of Spring' actually is. I am the kind of person that will eat a salad when it snows if my taste buds are inclined to. The season of Spring conjures up images of Green in my mind. As the weather starts to get milder, the days longer and nature starting to bloom, Green seems a good association. When I think of green foods- I always think instantly of Avocados.

TTN Visits: The Edible Garden Show, Alexandra Palace
I don't cook much with Salt but when I do, the only Salt I use is Maldon Salt flakes because they are quite frankly the best. So when I was asked to be a Maldon Salt Ambassador and given tickets to attend this years Edible Garden Show at Alexandra Palace, how could I have said no?!

TTN Visits: Duck & Waffle, Heron Tower, City of London
Today, I had brunch in the Sky. After getting ourselves onto the waiting list for Brunch at Duck & Waffle about a month ago, we were given a slot for 2:30 today which brightened up our week considerably!
We decided to dress up a little, although the dress code is Smart Causal, I chose my newest purchases and instantly felt special (wearing heels and a Midi skirt has that affect on a sunny Saturday)....

Chicken Noodle Broth (Gluten Free & Super Fast)
As much as I hate to admit, I have become a bit of a lazy cook. This means I want food in my fridge that will take minimal effort to prep and minimal time to cook, especially during the working week.
I got my most recent favourite recipe idea from The Londoner, whose blog I just cannot get enough of- she is so glamorous and she gives you a lovely insight into her life (perfect for nosey people like me). I tweaked her recipe as I don't like Soy or Fish Sauce (I can hear you Thai food lovers gasping) plus I want it to be as Gluten free as possible... So here is MY take on Chicken Noodle Broth...

TTN Visits: Flat Iron Steak, Soho
After trying, and failing, a number of times to get a seat in Flat Iron I was so happy when on a Friday off from work we managed to bag a table for a late lunch.

Mum's Sausage Plait (with a Gluten Free twist)
As many of you may have heard, the wonderful company Genius gluten
free has released a Frozen Puff Pastry and a Frozen Shortcrust pastry-Music to
my ears! I was super excited and even sent my dear Mum out on a hunt to find me
some whilst I searched London for some- as expected she was victorious. With 2
blocks of Gluten Free puff pastry in my Freezer I knew it wouldn’t be long
before I cooked with one- So I thought I would show you all how to make Sausage
Plait.....
